About Me

I have been an Usui (Western) Reiki Master for over 8 years, and a Teate (Traditional Japanese) Master for over 1 year.

 

I work with people from all walks of life and lifestyles, and on any circumstance that is disrupting their health or happiness.  My experience also includes work with kids and teens challenged with OCD, ADD/ADHD, tourette’s syndrome, depression, anxiety, divorce, self-esteem, anger, grief/loss, sexual/individual identity and other general hardships

 

My 12+ years of experience with animals is extensive and includes clinical settings (veterinary assistant), shelter employee (adoption counselor, intake evaluator, kennel maintenance), animal rescue/cruelty investigator (Humane Society of Kingsport, TN) and several private clients including cats, dogs, birds, horses, snakes, and some wildlife.

 

I have been working in the complimentary and alternative health care field for over 15 years and I love what I do!  I hold a masters degree in Counseling from UAB, certification in Spirituality, Health and Healing from the California board of  Registered Nursing, and am a professional member of IACT (International Association of Counselors and Therapists).
